"For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord, his heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries." (Psalm 112:6-8)
God has made known to us the future, so we need not fear the present. For from an eternal perspective, evil is fleeting and is soon coming to a conclusion, but His righteous kingdom is unstoppable and will continue forever. As Christians, when we fear the Lord biblically, we'll be established and immovable, as the above Scripture reveals (Psalm 112:1). For in the face of evil, we'll not retreat in cowardice, but will be fearlessly bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1). For this is God's will for us, and is possible by the grace that is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 1:7-8).
"And not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in Him but also suffer for his sake" (Philippians 1:28-29)
