NJ drones 'authorized' by the FAA in first White House press briefing of Trump administration

I had said they were most likely government drones because the Biden administration said “they didn’t know what they were, but they were nothing for us to worry about”

Which proves they did know what they were

Illegals Force Emergency Landing on Deportation Flight

The MSM did not report this well - only saying the Brazilians were angry that their deportees were handcuffed on the flight. Well, this is why - they were unruly and tried to destroy the plane.

"A Trump deportation flight carrying illegal immigrants made an emergency landing in Brazil allegedly due to unrest onboard.

Dozens of handcuffed Brazilian passengers arrived on a GlobalX jet at the Eduardo Gomes International Airport in Manaus City, Amazonas state, on January 25 evening.

Video shows ground crew deploying an emergency slide after the Airbus A320 reportedly experienced technical difficulties mid-flight. The passengers were said to have complained of the heat, sparking chaotic scenes onboard and forcing the emergency landing."

An "Iron Dome" for America?

On January 27, 2025, the President signed an executive order called "The Iron Dome for America" to make sure we’re ready for whatever might come our way. Here’s what it’s all about—without all the jargon.

Why Is This Happening?

The world is getting more complicated when it comes to missile technology. Ballistic missiles, hypersonic weapons, advanced cruise missiles—you name it, other countries are developing these systems, and they’re more sophisticated than ever. This executive order is all about staying ahead of the game and ensuring that the U.S. has the best defenses possible.

What’s the Plan?

The goal is to build a next-generation missile defense system to protect U.S. citizens, infrastructure, and our way of life. This includes:

  • Deploying a missile defense shield to counter everything from rogue nation threats to advanced weapons from major adversaries.
  • Defending against aerial attacks with cutting-edge tech.
  • Guaranteeing a secure second-strike capability (basically, the ability to respond decisively if we’re ever attacked).

How Will It Work?

The Secretary of Defense has been tasked with laying out the details within 60 days. Here’s what’s on the to-do list:

  • Develop plans to defend against advanced missiles, from hypersonic to cruise missiles.
  • Speed up deployment of space-based sensors to track and intercept threats early.
  • Work on non-kinetic options (think electronic or cyber defenses) alongside traditional missile interceptors.
  • Ensure the supply chain for this technology is secure and resilient.

Working With Allies

This isn’t just about the U.S. We’re looking to strengthen missile defense systems with our allies and partners. The plan includes sharing technology, improving defenses for U.S. troops stationed abroad, and helping allied nations protect their own populations.

What Does This Mean for the Budget?

The Department of Defense will also work on figuring out how to fund all this, ensuring it aligns with the 2026 budget. The focus is on getting these advanced defenses ready without unnecessary delays.

Why This Matters

This initiative isn’t just about building high-tech systems; it’s about sending a clear message: the U.S. is committed to peace through strength. By staying ahead of evolving threats and working closely with allies, the goal is to keep our country safe and prepared for any challenges the future might bring.

We’ll keep you updated as the plans take shape, but one thing is clear: this is a big step toward securing our nation and protecting the American people from 21st-century threats.

US Military Deploys to Border
Here's a list of which units are there

In response to President Donald Trump's recent directives to intensify immigration enforcement, the U.S. Department of Defense has initiated a significant deployment of military personnel to the U.S.-Mexico border. As of January 27, 2025, an initial contingent of 1,600 troops has been mobilized, with expectations of further deployments to bolster border security efforts.

The following military units have been confirmed for deployment:

  • 82nd Airborne Division: Renowned for rapid deployment capabilities, elements from this division are being sent to provide support in logistics, security, and infrastructure enhancement along the border.

  • 10th Mountain Division: Specializing in light infantry operations, units from this division are tasked with assisting in surveillance and reconnaissance missions to monitor and manage border activities.

  • 549th Military Police Company, 385th Military Police Battalion, 16th Military Police Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps: This unit has been deployed to conduct security operations and support law enforcement agencies in managing border crossings and detentions.

These deployments are part of a broader strategy to enhance border security, involving the construction of barriers, provision of logistical support, and reinforcement of existing infrastructure to deter illegal crossings and smuggling activities. The Pentagon has indicated that the number of troops deployed may increase as the situation evolves, reflecting the administration's commitment to stringent immigration control measures.

It's important to note that while these military units are providing critical support, their roles are primarily focused on assistance and infrastructure; direct law enforcement actions remain under the jurisdiction of federal agencies such as Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Ukraine War Update – What’s Happening and Where

Hey everyone, let’s break down the latest developments in Ukraine, along with some geographical context so you can understand the bigger picture.

Russian Advances in Velyka Novosilka

  • Where Is It? Velyka Novosilka is a settlement in Donetsk Oblast, in eastern Ukraine. It’s located along a front line that has seen heavy fighting throughout the war. Think of it as part of the larger Donbas region, which Russia has been trying to dominate since 2014.
  • What’s Happening? Russian forces claim they’ve taken control of most of Velyka Novosilka, a key step if they want to push further west toward the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast boundary, a major region in central Ukraine. If Russia keeps advancing here, it could cut off key Ukrainian supply lines to the east.

Strategic Implications

  • Why Does This Matter? The Donbas region, including Donetsk Oblast, has always been a focal point of the war. Russia sees it as a critical piece of its goal to secure territory in eastern Ukraine. By gaining control here, Russia could pivot to other active fronts like:
    • Kupyansk: In northeastern Ukraine, where Russia aims to stretch Ukrainian defenses.
    • Chasiv Yar and Toretsk: Towns near Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast, still hot zones of conflict.
    • Pokrovsk: A more western point in Donetsk, key for deeper incursions.

Ukrainian Counteractions

  • Where’s the Ryazan Oil Refinery? This refinery is in Russia’s Ryazan Oblast, about 200 kilometers southeast of Moscow. While not in Ukraine, it’s crucial because it supplies fuel to Russian military equipment used in the war.
  • What Happened? Ukrainian forces hit the refinery with drones, causing a fire in one of the tanks. This is part of Ukraine’s broader strategy to disrupt Russia’s supply chains and make it harder for their military to operate effectively.

Bigger Picture

  • The fighting in Donetsk Oblast highlights how contested eastern Ukraine remains. Russia is pushing west from its occupied territories in Donbas, while Ukraine is countering by striking Russian logistics and infrastructure.
  • Places like Velyka Novosilka may not seem significant on their own, but they’re part of a larger chessboard where control over towns and supply lines can shift the momentum of the war.

What’s Next? With these gains, Russia might focus on consolidating its control in the east or move forces to other hotspots. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s counteroffensives, including strikes on Russian supply chains, will likely continue to shape the battlefield.

Let me know what you think—does Russia’s push in Donbas seem like a game-changer, or is Ukraine’s strategy of targeting logistics the real key to turning the tide? Share your thoughts below!
