"May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord. May sinners be consumed from the earth, and the wicked be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord!"
(Psalms 104:34–35)
The judgment of God is good, for in it, He executes justice and establishes divine order, so that righteousness and peace may prosper on this planet, because of His good, perfect and pleasing will being done. By which, the Earth will indeed be full of the knowledge of the glory of the Lord (Isaiah 11:9, Psalm 72:19). For at that time, all things will be restored, just as it is written by the holy prophets (Acts 1:6, 3:21).
And this prayer of the Psalmist anticipates His coming judgment in the Day of the Lord, which is ever drawing closer (1 Thessalonians 5:2-3). For the wrath of the Lamb (Revelation 6:16), since all judgment has been entrusted to Jesus (John 5:22), will be executed against all the wicked and unrepentant of the Earth — in the last days of this present evil age or world. For if someone rejects Christ's payment for their sin in the Gospel, then they can't be forgiven eternally but will personally pay the price for all their wickedness and rebellion (John 3:16-19). For either the Lord Jesus pays for one's sin on the cross, or they pay for it themselves — it's our choice to make. For truly, there is no other option for humanity — for salvation is found in no other name ( 1 Timothy 2:3-5, Acts 4:12, John 14:6).
"Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened in it's going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine. “I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.” (Isaiah 13:9-11)
